The Cy-Fair High School baseball team advanced to the Area round playoffs after winning the District 17-6A Bi-District Championship. The Bobcats will face Katy in a best-of-three matchup beginning May 8 at 7 p.m.
May 7, 2025—The Cypress Woods High School baseball team defeated Magnolia West in a best-of-three series by the scores of 3-1 and 10-0, respectively, to win the bi-district championship Region II-6A playoffs.
Cypress Ranch High School faced Klein Collins in a best-of-three series, falling to Klein Collins with scores of 0-2 and 4-6. The Mustangs concluded the season as bi-district finalist.
Bridgeland High School competed against Klein Cain in a best-of-three series and concluded the series with scores of 2-4 and 1-2. Bridgeland ended the season as bi-district finalist.
Langham Creek High School faced Tomball in a best-of-three series ending the season with scores of 0-6 and 1-11. Langham Creek concluded the season as bi-district finalists.

Cypress Woods will face Conroe Oak Ridge in a best-of-three matchup for the area round playoffs:
- Game 1 – May 8 at 7 p.m. at Cypress Woods High School (13550 Woods-Spillane Blvd)
- Game 2 – May 9 at 7 p.m. at Oak Ridge High School (27330 Oak Ridge School Road)
- Game 3, if necessary – May 10 at 12 p.m. at Grand Oaks High School (4800 Riley Fuzzel Road)
In Region III, Cy-Fair High School defeated Houston Bellaire in a best-of-three series by the scores of 1-0 and 3-2, respectively, to win the bi-district championship.
Cypress Falls High School faced Houston Lamar in a best-of-three series and concluded the season with scores of 3-1 and 5-6, respectively. The Golden Eagles ended the season as bi-district finalists.
Cy-Fair will face Katy in a best-of-three matchup for the area round playoffs. All games will be played at Langham Creek High School (17610 FM 529).
Tickets for games will be $5 each (adults and students) and sold online via the links above. The ticket link for Game 3 of the Cy-Fair vs. Katy series will open at 8 a.m. on May 10 if necessary.
