The Cypress Creek High School boys’ basketball team claimed the District 17-6A championship title with a season record of 13-1. The Cougars will advance to the UIL bi-district playoffs to face Houston Lamar at 6 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Berry Center.
Feb. 17, 2025—The District 16-6A and District 17-6A boys’ basketball seasons ended on Feb. 12, with seven CFISD teams qualifying for the UIL playoffs.
Cypress Springs High School claimed the District 16-6A championship title with a district record of 12-2.
The Cypress Springs High School boys’ basketball team claimed the District 16-6A championship title with a season record of 12-2. The Panthers will advance to the UIL bi-district playoffs to face Tomball Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Berry Center.
Cypress Lakes High School and Cypress Ranch High School both finished the season with an 11-3 district record and Cypress Woods High School finished the season with an 8-6 district record.
In 17-6A, Cypress Creek High School claimed the district championship finishing the season with a 13-1 record. Both Cypress Falls High School and Cy-Fair High School finished the season with an 11-3 district record. Spring ISD’s Stratford High School claimed the fourth seed with a district record of 8-6.
The Cypress Ranch High School boys’ basketball team will advance to the UIL bi-district playoffs to face Klein Forest at 7 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Klein High School.
Cypress Springs, Cypress Lakes, Cypress Ranch and Cypress Woods will enter the UIL Region II playoffs with the following bi-district matchups:
- Cypress Springs will face Tomball Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road)
- Cypress Lakes will play Klein Collins at 7 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Tomball High School (30330 Quinn Road)
- Cypress Ranch will face Klein Forest at 7 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Klein High School (16715 Stuebner Airline Road)
- Cypress Woods will play Klein at 7 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Cypress Creek High School (9815 Grant Road)
The Cypress Lakes High School boys’ basketball team will advance to the UIL bi-district playoffs to meet Klein Collins at 7 p.m. pm Feb. 18 at Tomball High School.
Cypress Creek, Cypress Falls and Cy-Fair will enter the UIL Region III-6A playoffs with the following bi-district matchups:
- Cypress Creek will face Houston Lamar at 6 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Berry Center
- Cypress Falls will play Houston Westside at 7 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Cypress Ridge High School (7900 N. Eldridge Pkwy.)
- Cy-Fair will play Houston Bellaire at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Delmar Fieldhouse (2020 Mangum Road)
Tickets are $5 each for adults and students. Tickets for Cypress Springs, Cypress Lakes, Cypress Ranch, Cypress Woods, Cypress Creek and Cypress Falls can be purchased online.
Tickets for Cy-Fair will be sold through HISD.
