Cypress Falls High School junior Dazlyn McClenon was named District 17-6A girls’ basketball Most Valuable Player for the 2024-2025 season.

March 7, 2025—District 17-6A girls’ basketball coaches recently released the 2024-2025 All-District 17-6A Girls’ Basketball Team, following the conclusion of each team’s season in the UIL playoffs.

Cypress Falls High School junior Dazlyn McClenon was named the district’s most Valuable Player alongside Stratford’s Tess Stephenson for the 2024-2025 season.

Cy-Fair High School junior Amber Menard was named to the District 17-6A girls’ basketball First Team for the 2024-2025 season.

Cypress Creek High School junior Mariyah Dickson was named the district’s Offensive Player of the Year alongside Memorial’s Draden Moss for the 2024-2025 season. Stratford senior Rachel Ashby was named the district’s Defensive Player of the Year.

Cypress Creek freshman Kaycie Hanks was named the district’s Newcomer of the Year.
