Nov. 7, 2024—The Bridgeland, Cypress Ranch and Cy-Fair high school volleyball teams advanced past the bi-district round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and move on to the area round, while Cypress Woods and Jersey Village high schools concluded their seasons.

Cypress Ranch swept Klein Oak in three sets by the scores of 25-19, 25-13 and 25-18. The Mustangs will face The Woodlands at 5 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Houston ISD’s Delmar Fieldhouse (2020 Mangum Road).

Bridgeland High School defeated Tomball Memorial in four sets to advance to meet Conroe Grand Oaks at 5 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Waller High School.

Bridgeland defeated Tomball Memorial in four sets by the scores of 26-24, 26-24, 20-25 and 26-24. The Bears advance to play Conroe Grand Oaks at 5 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Waller High School (31213 Waller Spring Creek Road).

Cy-Fair swept Houston Lamar in three sets by the scores of 25-11, 25-13 and 25-15. The Bobcats advance to meet Katy Cinco Ranch at 5 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Katy ISD’s Merrell Center (6301 S. Stadium Lane).

Tickets for Cypress Ranch, Bridgeland and Cy-Fair are $5 each for adults and students and are sold online.

Cypress Woods lost to Tomball in three sets by the scores of 23-25, 16-25 and 19-25. The Wildcats were District 16-6A’s third seed and finished the season as bi-district finalists.

Jersey Village lost to Houston Bellaire in three sets by the scores of 24-26, 27-29 and 23-25. The Falcons were District 17-6A’s fourth seed and finished the season as bi-district finalists.
