Feb. 11, 2026—A district record 51 CFISD high school music students earned All-State honors through the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) audition process.

Students began the process of competing locally in the fall semester and advanced through a series of rigorous competition rounds to eventually earn this performance distinction. Earning All-State honors is the highest distinction a Texas music student can receive.

A total of 15 Bridgeland High School students earned 2025-26 TMEA All-State honors, including Remi Mimouni, Connor Torres, Cayla Su, Cory Stephens, Payton Leob, Ethan Henry, Megan McMahon, Madden Mueller, Carter Crites, Kylee Graham, Valencia Shepherd, Pie Blasco, Leah Grigsby, Tristan Moreland and Amarechi Okorafer.

“Congratulations to the 51 CFISD student musicians selected for the TMEA All-State ensembles,” said Joe Glass, coordinator of secondary music. “This outstanding achievement reflects your dedication, talent and countless hours of hard work. We are incredibly proud of you and grateful to your directors!”

Students who earned All-State honors have been invited to the TMEA Clinic/Convention on Feb. 11-14 in San Antonio where they will work with world-class conductors to present All-State concerts. TMEA is the largest music education conference of its kind in the world.
