District 17-6A boys' soccer players earn 2025-26 league honors
Jersey Village High School freshman defender Christopher Bohorquez earned District 17-6A Newcomer of the Year.
April 23, 2026—The District 17-6A boys' soccer coaches recently released the 2025-26 17-6A All-District Boys' Soccer Team after Houston Memorial advanced all the way to the regional finals.
Stratford and Memorial finished as the top two teams in the district and swept most of the district superlatives. However, Jersey Village High School freshman defender Christopher Bohorquez did win the district’s Newcomer of the Year award. The Falcons had a strong season, making it to the area round of playoffs after missing the postseason altogether in 2025.
There was plenty of CFISD recognition on the all-district teams. In total, 31 players from five CFISD schools were recognized by district coaches. The full list of honorees is below.
