Six CFISD soccer teams earn bi-district postseason victories

March 23, 2026—Six CFISD boys’ and girls’ soccer teams won their respective Region II-6A and Region III-6A bi-district playoff matches March 19-20 to advance to the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs.  

District 16-6A girls’ soccer results were as follows:

Bridgeland High School defeated Klein Oak, 2-1. The Bears advance to the area round to play Conroe Grand Oaks at 7 p.m. on March 24 at Woodforest Stadium (19115 David Memorial Drive).

Cypress Woods High School defeated Tomball Memorial, 1-0. The Wildcats advance to the area round to face Conroe Oak Ridge at 7 p.m. on March 24 at Pridgeon Stadium (11355 Falcon Road).

Cypress Ranch High School ended its season with a 2-1 loss to Klein. The Mustangs were District 16-6A’s third seed and bi-district finalists.

Cypress Lakes High School ended its season with a 5-0 loss to Tomball. The Spartans were District 16-6A’s fourth seed and bi-district finalists.

The Cypress Woods High School girls’ soccer team defeated Tomball Memorial, 1-0, to advance to the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs. The Wildcats will face Conroe Oak Ridge at 7 p.m. on March 24 at Pridgeon Stadium.

District 16-6A boys’ soccer results were as follows:

Cypress Woods defeated Klein Oak, 1-0. The Wildcats advance to the area round to face The Woodlands at 7 p.m. on March 24 at Magnolia High School (14350 FM 1488).

Bridgeland ended its season with a 3-1 loss to Klein Cain. The Bears were District 16-6A’s first seed and bi-district finalists.

Langham Creek High School ended its season with a 3-2 loss to Magnolia West. The Lobos were District 16-6A’s third seed and bi-district finalists.

The Cy-Fair High School girls’ soccer team defeated Houston Bellaire in penalty kicks to advance to the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs. The Bobcats will play Katy Seven Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on March 24 at Morton Ranch High School.

District 17-6A girls’ soccer results were as follows:

Cy-Fair High School defeated Houston Bellaire in penalty kicks. The Bobcats advance to the area round of play Katy Seven Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on March 24 at Morton Ranch High School (21000 Franz Road).

District 17-6A boys’ soccer results were as follows:

Jersey Village High School defeated Houston Lamar, 1-0. The Falcons advance to the area round to meet Katy Seven Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on March 24 at Rhodes Stadium (1733 Katyland Drive).
