Policies & Procedures

The school day for students is from 7:25 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.. All students must be in a supervised activity or have left campus by 2:45 p.m.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to e-mail teachers directly through the Faculty/Staff web pages that include all faculty e-mail addresses to set up a time to meet with the child’s teacher. Parents can also call the front desk at 281-897-4600 to leave a message for the requested teacher. All visitors to the campus must check-in with the school receptionist to receive a visitor’s badge prior to going to the classroom.

Forms are available in the assistant principal offices. Sign-up is also available through the main CFISD district web page.

Parents or guardians can drop off lunch for their child. All visitors must report to the reception desk at the main entrance. Parents or guardians may not enter the school or meet their child at any of the other secured entrances as this is a violation of school policy.

Textbooks are distributed through the library after the school year begins. Students will be notified when textbooks are available for pickup.

Fines or fees must be paid through the Finance Office. Please have your student’s student ID number available when paying for any fines/fees.

All information can be updated through the Registrar’s office. Visitors must report to the school receptionist to get a Visitor’s Badge prior to going to the Registrar’s Office.

Students can order transcripts from the Registrar’s office or on the CFISD Website.

Only person that are listed in your child’s emergency contact information are able to pick them up during school hours, however, the parent/guardian needs to fax a picture ID and note stating that the contact person will be picking up their child. The parent/guardian will receive a call to verify the information.

Parents/Guardians withdrawing their child from school will visit the Registrar’s office.

One proof of residence in our attendance zone:

Current electric, gas, or water bill with street address information;

Signed current lease with names of enrolling adults and student;

Closing statement in the last 30 days;

Contract to close on a home within 180 days

Notarized CFISD Verification of Address form, for situations in which the parent/guardian does not own or rent directly.

Current immunization records

Student’s Birth Certificate

Valid Driver’s License or government issued ID

Academic records from previous school

Student’s Social Security Card

Court Documents relating to the student
